Data protection and cookies policy

This Privacy Policy sets out the purpose and manner for which the non-profit organization Zvol si info, z. s. processes personal data within the scope of its activities and how it protects them. They also provide information on the basic rights of data subjects.

The processing and protection of personal data in the Czech Republic is governed primarily by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), known as the „GDPR“.

Personal data controller

The administrator of personal data is the non-profit organization Zvol si info, z. s., with its registered office at Joštova 218/10, Brno, 602 00, ID No. 069 92 064, registered in the Federal Register at the Regional Court in Brno, file No. L 23914. Contact e-mail: kancelar@zvolsi.info.

Processing of personal data of the educational programme inquirer

For the purpose of processing the inquiry and creating a suitable offer, Zvol si info, z. s. processes personal data provided by the inquirer of the educational programme or his/her representative. This mainly includes name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number and job title.

If no contract for the implementation of the educational programme is subsequently concluded, Zvol si info, z. s. will not process the personal data provided for a period of more than one year from the last written communication sent or received in the matter.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the negotiation of the contract [Article 6(1)(b) GDPR].

Processing of personal data of the client of the training programme

For the purpose of fulfilling the concluded contract for the implementation of the educational programme and the fulfilment of related legal obligations, Zvol si info, z. s. processes the personal data of the client or his representative. This includes, in particular, name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, job title, delivery address, billing address, business address, personal identification number and tax identification number.

Zvol si info, z. s., will process this data for the duration of the mutual cooperation and for the period required by the relevant legal regulations.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the performance of the contract and the fulfilment of other legal obligations to which Zvol si info, z. s. is subject [Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR].

Processing of personal data when sending newsletters

For the purpose of sending out its own newsletter, Zvol si info, z. s. processes the personal data of its recipients solely on the basis of their consent. The only personal data processed in this way is the e-mail address.

Subscribers are included in the electronic mailing list for a period of five years after giving their consent. This consent can be withdrawn at any time.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the consent of the data subject [Article 6(1)(a) GDPR].

Information about cookies on the zvolsi.info website

Zvol si info, z. s., uses cookies in the operation of its website zvolsi.info. These are small data files that the web server creates and stores on the web visitor’s device via their web browser. They are used, among other things, to ensure the full functionality of the website, to display certain types of content, to analyse visitor behaviour or for advertising purposes.

Beyond the basic functional and technical cookies, zvolsi.info uses analytical cookies (Google Analytics) to monitor website traffic statistics and marketing cookies (Sklik) to better target the offer of educational programmes to potential candidates and to evaluate the success of such targeting.

The Zvol si info, z. s. website works with functional and technical cookies on the basis of legal permission. On the other hand, analytical and marketing cookies are used only with the visitor’s consent, which is completely voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time.

The processed personal data may also be accessed by other persons whose tools and services Zvol si info, z. s., uses in its activities. These are the following persons:

  • provider of the invoicing tool Fakturoid (Fakturoid, s. r. o., registration number 04656679, with registered office at Na Perštýně 342/1, Prague 1, 110 00);
  • the provider of GDrive and Google Analytics (Google Ireland, Ltd., with registered office at Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland);
  • Notion (Notion Labs, Inc., 2300 Harrison Street, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States of America);
  • Sklik service provider (Seznam.cz, a. s., registration number 26168685, with registered office at Radlická 3294/10, Prague 5, 150 00);
  • accounting service provider (Marie Špigelová, ID No. 17975972, with registered office at Uherčice 43, 691 62).

General information on the processing of personal data

Zvol si info, z. s. does not use automated decision-making and does not profile personal data.

Rights of the data subject

Under the GDPR, every data subject has the right to request information about which of his or her personal data is being processed, as well as the right to request access to and a copy of that data. The data subject also has the right to request that the data be updated or rectified.

In certain cases, the data subject also has the right to request the restriction of processing or erasure of his or her personal data. In specified cases, they also have the right to data portability.

The consent given to the processing of personal data is revocable at any time and the processing may be objected to on the basis of legitimate interest. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal.

In the event of a suspected breach of legal obligations in the processing of his or her personal data, the data subject may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
